Although quieter than normal, we have been working behind the scenes on various articles and changes to the site. We have extended the timeframe that comments can be made on posts to 28 days – which gives plenty of time for discussion. We have also increased the time that you can edit your own comments to a day. You asked for this, and we are happy to do it.
Comments seem to be the subject of much annoyance, and we appreciate every comment made. However, this is a website about Jonathon Jessica Yaniv Simpson, and we ask that comments are about or related to him. In all honesty, no one is interested in Trump, China or Covid (unless it relates to Yaniv) or personal opinions on immigration and Islam. We are not a hate site; we tread a very fine line in fact-checking everything. Our moderation policy has always been as light as possible.
We want to stop all manual moderation so comments are shown in real-time. To do this, we are trialling sending only comments with Donald Trump, Wuflu, China, etc, to a separate moderation queue. If this works, we will be able to stop moderating most comments.
