Donald Francis Smith aka News Now Canada Independent Media is a Autistic “Independent Journalist, Photographer, and Sports Photographer.” Truthfully – DSF has a bad habit of saying really inappropriate and threatening statements. DFS has a history of being a provocateur and has run afoul of the law many times, particularly during the Trucker Convoy freedom protests and in covering touchy Canadian political events. DFS continually pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable behaviour, and MM does NOT condone his actions.

However, MM acknowledge that due to DFS’s quest (since the #WaxMyBalls cases) to expose Jessica Yaniv, that Jessica has had a hard-on to prosecute, stalk, harass, and terrorize DFS, and we at MM consider DFS a victim of Yaniv.

YANIV FILES ANOTHER CASE AGAINST DONALD

  • SIMPSON, Jessica v SMITH, Donald
  • FILE # 233913 Supreme Civil Court of Vancouver BC (General)
    • 2024 August 7 – Oral Reasons for Judgement of request by Rebel News
      • In [Judge’s] view, Ms. Simpson has not met the onus of showing that court openness will pose a serious risk to an important public interest.
    • 2024 July 25 – Notice of Application filed by Rebel News Network asking for the publication ban and anonymization of Yaniv’s name to be removed from this file.
    • 2024 July 8 – Form 36 Notice of Discontinuance (Ending this proceeding)
    • 2024 June 14 – Release Order (Donald was apprehended and released)
    • 2024 March 25 – Form 35 Order After Application (Prohibits Donald from mentioning Yaniv family)
      • This is an extensive document that includes endless lists of places that the Yaniv family can be found to be at – including Jewish cemetery, multiple universities locations, Jewish synagogues and Jewish community centres (no Christian churches though) – but for good measure Yaniv included a couple of aboriginal societies, then a long list of doctors offices, dental office, orthotics office, and the extent of the locations surrounding the UBC lands including the NUDE BEACH and park trails, then a long list of Lawyer offices of previous firms stupid enough to be paid by Yaniv.
    • 2024 March 18 – Form 8 Default Judgment ordering Donald to Pay Yaniv for failing to respond
    • 2023 June 1 – Order for Publication Ban
    • 2023 May 30 – Order to Anonymize Yaniv’s name to X
    • 2023 May 29 – Order to Waive Fees (Yaniv is broke ass and can’t pay the court filing fee)
    • 2023 May 29 – Notice of Civil Claim by Yaniv against Donald
      • The notice of claim outlines the events from 2021 to 2023 in which DFS posted images and videos, and uttered death threats toward Yaniv. Donald plead guilty in Ontario for the death threats. Yaniv demands injunction on DFS and financial costs.
