We look back at older articles every now and then, mainly because Yaniv Simpson has done something that reminds us of them. This article was originally covered in 2020 and was one of the most serious ones we have ever posted. A lot is going on with this article, and our main new one is coming soon; we just felt looking again at this topic would be useful for context and to see how badly Yaniv’s claims have aged.
For anyone that’s been around the Yaniv block a few times, may remember all of the Norman Bates and Silence of the Lambs memes that were being posted at Yaniv. At the time, we will admit a lot of it was based on her looks and her dysfunctional relationship with his mother and Mrs Yaniv the 4th. As more comes into the public eye, though, we have concluded that some of these suspicions must have a grain of truth.
Serial killers such as Gacy, Berkowitz, Dahmer, and Bundy were all cruel to animals before they started being cruel to people. Henry Lee Lucas, for example, would kill livestock and then have intercourse with the corpse. He later went on to kill his own mother, an underage girlfriend, and an older lady he was staying with. When Jeffrey Dahmer was young, he killed cats, dogs, and frogs and impaled their heads on sticks. When Dennis Rader was young, he hung a cat and dog, later becoming known as BTK. There are other similarities to serial killers, such as the fact Yaniv feigns a disability to get people’s guard down, much like Ted Bundy. And like Ed Gein, Yaniv has a strange relationship with their mother. Yaniv has striking similarities to Luca Magnotta: the attention-seeking, hyperinflated sense of self (both think they’re models), manipulative use of social media, and they both have issues with harming/killing animals.
There is an un
deniable circumstantial link between Yaniv and injured pets, mostly those belonging to neighbours or families that Yaniv has a grudge against. This is significant but purely circumstantial and would seem to push the possibility of it being a coincidence further apart than Yaniv’s brain cells. One of the first documented incidences of potential abuse was Yaniv’s allegation that someone had broken into his original pigloo & drugged his pet dog. Yaniv went as far as the local newspaper and reported it to the RCMP in a sick bid to gain attention. At the time, Yaniv, who identified as Jonathon, was actually doing well with his TrustedNerd tech brand and had £1000’s of pounds worth of equipment in his home and not one item was stolen. RCMP found no evidence of a break-in or even an attempted break-in. So, if the break-in never happened, who poisoned the DOG?
Many of you will know that this is not the ONLY incident connecting Yaniv and animals. During his reign of terror at Greenside, several gruesome incidents happened, all of which Yaniv would go on to describe in minute detail on social media. This included puppies, cats and pet rabbits. We know that the incidents happened, we know that Yaniv described them in detail, and we know that Yaniv blamed a young South Asian kid for all of it. Does anything there ring a few warning bells?
I am sure that the fact that at least two of these incidents were families that he had recently developed grudges against. One, in particular, was the family of a girl who had complained about Yaniv being creepy in girls’ toilets. Their puppy was stolen, had its head crushed and was left with a note saying, “Karma is a bitch”.
While living at Greenside, they allegedly tortured wild bunnies and physically abused their own cat twice. The cat was actually cut open. More than one new pet has disappeared or died suddenly in the Yaniv household since. As I said it is circumstantial but convincing.
Here at Meow Mix, we love our critters. As pet owners and animal rights activists, we have struggled to watch history repeating itself time and time again. These allegations were turned in to law enforcement with no appreciable results. Was it a lack of evidence or the PC police at work? The jury is out on that, but it is unsettling that this seems to follow Yaniv wherever they go. What are the chances?
When all this started, and I didn’t know half of what I do now about the situation, I thought Yaniv was just a laughing stock. It was pretty funny that Yaniv shopped what looked like a hairy buttcrack on their chest for the illusion of cleavage. Saying they’re a “model” while looking like Shrek in a dress did make me giggle. Unfortunately, it stopped being funny. It’s not totally clear how this all started, but I feel like I know exactly how it will end. It’s a shame no one in Yaniv’s life thought to or cared enough to help them with their mental health issues. There are only three ways this ends: prison, an outraged father or the funny farm.
Above all, we ask just how many of these coincidences must happen before the RCMP and the authorities in Canada take action.
