On March 8, 2024 Ezra Levant of Rebel News announced that a British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal (BCHRT) complaint that had been filed by Jessica Simpson/Jonathan Yaniv in MARCH 2021 was approved to continue the next step of the tribunal process.
This is basically the same suit Yaniv filed in the BC Supreme Court alleging the same discrimination. He not only lost that case which was determined to be a SLAPP suit (Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation) but was also named for the record to be an uncharged pedophile and racist.
Rebel News has vowed to fight this action which has now grown from simple discrimination complaint to an election issue of free speech & censorship with calls for the repeal of Section 7.
