Jessica Yaniv Simpson Sues Strata 10th Time in the CRT. Notes in the decision say 3 times in the HRT. I bet those owners at The Hawthorne can not wait for the Foreclosure eviction to come.
Today a new decision dropped in the CRT Simpson v. The Owners, Strata Plan BCS 3591 – Jon loses again.
Don’t forget to check our Legal Timeline Page for the Summary of this & all the cases we cover:

If a deaf man goes to court, is it still called a “Hearing”?
So basically, Yaniv is storing stuff on his balcony that goes against a Bylaw. Him and multiple other units got a warning but there was no details included as to what was being improperly stored on the balcony. Jon ignored it. A year later the strata followed up to ask Jon about the shit on his balcony. Jon requested to attend a council meeting online in April 2024, but the council refused to change the meeting to Zoom. Jon did not bother to attend online.
Under section 8 of the Human Rights Code, strata corporations have a duty to accommodate people with physical and mental disabilities, unless doing so would create undue hardship. In the May 2024, the council accommodated his request and held their meetings on ZOOM.
Jon requested for $5,000 in damages – because he has “some” bilateral hearing impairment according to a 2023 Hearing Test done by Wavefront Centre, and he needed Zoom for the closed captioning option. This was dismissed because Council generally did accommodate his requests. Tribunal Member Mark Henderson has ordered Strata to always accommodate hearing impairment.
Furthermore Strata’s $200 in fines was ordered void. Strata had failed to detail what was on the balcony that contravened the Bylaw. MeowMix are certain next time there will be details or photos.
Jon asked for $10,000 in legal fees despite representing himself and providing no back up and as such the Tribunal Member said no way. MeowMix wonder if he is using Simpson Litigation or The Practise of Jessica Simpson to claim he is a lawyer again?
The Strata provided evidence that this was the 10th time Jon had taken them to CRT and that Jon had also taken them to the HRT 3 times, and provided evidence of the $9,010.93 legal fees requested. Sadly, simply because “the strata was largely unsuccessful in this dispute” the Council’s request for legal fees was denied – this time.
MeowMix watch the CSO and CRT etc and check daily for new updates. Wonder what else is coming up this year? Rumour has it that Rexy The Wonder Dog has bitten another dog, causing a vet bill. Has SPCA been involved? Then there is Mad Miriam, who was ranting on social media about suing her Strata. During some big blow up at the seniors residence Jon called an ambulance. It wasn’t a heart attack, or a crippling stroke, it was merely Jon out of breathe after running away like a coward from senior citizens again. Then there is the accusation that “Jessica” has followed around 1500 teenaged children on SnapChat and is talking to them. What could a 38 year old virgin eunuch want to discuss with 13 year olds?
