Who is Jessica Yaniv?
Jessica Yaniv an Incel is a Canadian transgender activist who is known for causing controversy. Earlier this year, she lost a case against three Brazillian waxers and has to pay $2000 to each woman. The major controversy is that she has been exposed for messaging underage women and asking personal questions about menstruation or periods. I’m about to get into the question itself: Is Jessica Yaniv an incel? We’re going to look at the definition of “incel” and some of the traits of incels and see if Jessica Yaniv matches any of these traits. I just want to say that I’m not a professional psychologist in any way, shape or form, that I just would like to share my opinion.
What Is An Incel?
According to Wikipedia, an incel is defined as: “a member or members of an online subculture who define themselves as unable to find a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one, a state they describe as inceldom.”
Or if you head on over to Urban Dictionary, (their definition I personally prefer) a person (usually male) who has a horrible personality and treats women like sexual objects and thinks his lack of a sex life comes from being “ugly” when its really just his blatant sexism and terrible attitude. Incels have little to no self awareness; even when they see other “ugly” men with girlfriends, they consider these men to be tricksters who have somehow beat the system and can get women despite being cursed with unattractiveness (in other words, they’re respectful to women and women are attracted to their personalities, but incels can’t comprehend such a phenomenon). they believe that women owe them sex, and many of the more extreme incels like to spend time in incel communities on the internet coming up with ways to make women have sex with them (often involving genocide of people of color, genocide of “Chads” (men who have sex), taking rights away from women, raping them, having sex with women’s dead bodies, and other horrid, disgusting things. they cant understand that that is PRECISELY why women want nothing to do with them.
Traits Of Incels: Is Jessica Yaniv One?
I’ve already listed the traits of incels as above, but I will compare them to Jessica and her behaviour in this section.
Resentment:
Jessica, formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv, is not only known for causing controversy through messages, but on her VERY public Twitter. She has falsely accused people of lying about the transgender community, lied about politicians bullying her personally and has accused Google Ads of not having LGBT+ friendly menstruation products. Transgender YouTuber Blaire White has made a video discussing the “Any gender can get their period.” scandal. Jessica herself has not made any sort of effort to transition into a woman whatsoever, so in my opinion she resents biologically born females.
Misogyny:
Jessica is known for her alleged “period fetish”. Judging from what I’ve seen, it is possible that Jessica has menophilia. Menophilia is basically the word for a period fetish. On April 16 2018, Jessica retweeted a tweet with the caption: “YES YES YES!!! #LGBTRights #LGBTQ” after a Twitter account called @RadicalMom2 tweeted an article stating: “Judge rules girls have no right to visual bodily privacy from boys as long as they’re not being touched.” If that does not speak creep, I don’t know what will.
Misanthropy:
You know how people say that “they hate humans?” I admit that I’m one of those people who prefers animals over humans, but I don’t say that all humans are bad. Sure, I’ve met some absolutely disgusting people, but I can’t say that everyone I’ve met is a bad person. Jessica seems to be a misanthropist simply because of the fact she thinks everyone hates transgender people. In fact, there are people who are open about their support of the LGBT+ community and have donated some of their time to helping those people.
Self-pity:
As you’ve read, Jessica was born with the name Jonathan. According to Twitter users, Jessica likes to look for tweets containing the name Jonathan and report that tweet for abuse. Most of the time, these accounts are suspended for violating the Twitter rules. Jessica has very exaggerated delusions of grandeur. She often labels herself as a girl despite making no effort to transition from male to female and openly tweets about getting her period twice a month. I read about a girl who gets her period every 10 days, but I don’t think twice a month is normal unless a woman is born with a medical condition that causes her menstrual cycle to be abnormal in a way.
Self-loathing:
I can’t find anything that has anything to do with Jessica hating herself in any matter, so we’ll skip for now. If I find anything I’ll update this.
Racism:
Jessica has been under fire for discriminating against Sikh, Muslim, Arab, and Asian people. In one incident she has been heard calling an individual a “turban f***er”. That’s not all that she has said, other incidents include:
-Photographing two veiled Muslim women pushing a baby stroller and captioning it “lol”.
-Telling an Iraqi man “I don’t help people from Iraq.”
-Mocking Sikh people in direct Facebook chat, saying “their turban must be on too tight,” and it’s “affecting blood circulation to their brain.”
-Joking about having had an Asian seller penalized with a selling ban on eBay, claiming “I can’t stand Asians.”
A sense of entitlement to sex:
As well as having a sense of entitlement to a Brazillian wax despite having male genitalia, Jessica seems to be entitled to having sex. On a now deleted tweet, Jessica claimed to be pregnant. She has not provided proof of her “pregnancy”, not even a positive pregnancy test.
The endorsement of violence against sexually active people:
I don’t know about this person’s personal life whatsoever, but Jessica assaulted reporter David Menzies outside her apartment with a walking stick in front of her mother who told Menzies to go away. Jessica claims to be disabled and needing a motor scooter, however in the video you can clearly see her walking perfectly fine.
Final Conclusion
Jessica Yaniv fits most of the listed traits of incels. I’m finding it very hard to come to a solid conclusion on whether she is an incel or not, but based on the overwhelming amount of evidence, it is my opinion that she very well could be.
