Jessica Yaniv Simpson’s aunt (or, as some have referred to her, JY’s real mother), facing four criminal charges, appeared in court today for a plea deal as expected.
Ilana Altmann Court Update
In exchange for dropping charges of Uttering Threats, Assaulting a Peace Officer, Willfully Resisting Arrest, and Uttering Threats To Cause Death or Bodily Harm, Ilana entered into a 12-month $500 recognizance or peace bond.
This peace bond is supervised like a probation order because the threat of harm still exists. A peace bond is not a criminal conviction; charges may be laid if Altmann does not follow the conditions.
