Miriam Yaniv and Jack Yaniv were born in Israel, and members of the Jewish Community.
Jessica Yaniv aka Jessica Simpson formerly Jonathan Yaniv has been claiming to be Canadian Indigenous and Métis in the last few years. Posting the claim publicly on social media, on SFU applications and in court statements. In November 2024 when questioned about the claim (on a SPACE live chat on X) Yaniv declared something like “you don’t know who my dad is” as if Jack Yaniv was not JY’s father. Look at photos of Jack Yaniv and JY – and you can’t deny that JY is Jack’s offspring.
To best summarize why it is MM’s opinion that Jessica Yaniv Simpson is a Pretendian – and not at all even a fraction Métis in DNA – we feel it is best we start at the roots of the family tree.
THE JEW FAMILY TREE
From research found online, the Yaniv family – Miriam and Jack Yaniv – the parents of Jonathan Yaniv (known now as Jessica Simpson) – were both born in Israel.
The Yaniv’s appeared to be proud members of the Jewish faith and the Jewish community in their new Canadian home.
Miriam’s parents even immigrated to Canada, and are buried there, in a Jewish Cemetery.

Yitzhak Yankilevich aka Jack Yaniv

Immigrated to Canada in 1966.
Died: January 25, 2013, Surrey, BC
Jack Yaniv also known as Yitzhak Yankilevich was born August 14, 1937 in what is now Tel Aviv, Israel.

Jack (at age 29) immigrated to British Columbia, Canada with his first wife Ahuva (age 27) and their child(ren) in 1966. Jack had 3 children during his first marriage – 2 sons and a daughter. One is retiring from being a teacher, which puts him to be about 60-65 years old. He noted he immigrated here with his parents in 1966. (That is him in the pink beard in 2005 having his head shaved for a cancer fundraiser. He looks just like Jack Yaniv.)
Yaniv’s half brother deleted his previously public X account in February 2025, however these screenshots were taken prior to his removal of his public Social Media.
MM have wondered if any of the half-siblings would be willing to provide DNA and proof that their father was indeed Israeli. As it would shut down Jessica / Jonathan’s claim that his dad is Métis. The half siblings seem to want nothing to do with Jessica aka Jonathan though.
Jack The Shitty Father
Jack divorced his first wife and left the 1st family in poverty around 1977. Jack’s son has publicly stated he was raised in public housing and was left poor due to his father abandoning them. Jack doesn’t seem to have been the best father.
Jack may have also married multiple women in Vegas according the Farm sleuths, but no concrete facts on that are known. Between 1977 and 1987 – Jack seemed to be a wild one if it is true.
Then Jack returned to Israel and met Miriam. Although, when the Farmers brought up the Vegas weddings, Miriam alleged she met Jack’s friends in Vegas and he had no other wives between her and Ahuva. So who knows – all we do know is Miriam then stated in BCHRT (2019 Waxing Cases) that she immigrated to Canada in approximately 1984/85. Jack most likely married Miriam in Israel and returned to British Columbia, Canada.
Jonathan was born in New Westminster, B.C. in 1987.
The family eventually lived in South Surrey where Jonathan went to Jessie Lee Elementary and eventually to Semiahmoo High School.
After Yaniv’s graduation from High School Miriam’s father dies and the family move to an area of Surrey called Cloverdale, which borders Langley, BC.
Jack Yaniv died of Cancer on January 25th, 2013. MM can not locate an obituary, or a location for a grave site even though JY has said Jack is buried in a Jewish Cemetery.

Miriam Yaniv was born January 30, 1954 in Israel.
Miriam’s parents were Hana Seeberger (1921-1997) born in Germany and Baruch Altmann (1922-2006) also born in Germany.
Miriam’s parents immigrated to Canada as well. As did Miriam’s younger sister Ilana Altmann. Ilana communicates by sign language.
Miriam’s Grandparents were certainly not Métis or Canadian Indigenous.
From the genealogy sites Miriam’s father Baruch Altmann’s parents were George Altmann who was born in Poland, and died in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1971 and Eva Altmann born in Germany and died in Germany in 1925 (at a young age.)
From the genealogy sites Miriam’s mother Hanna’s parents were Raphael Serberger born in Germany, and died in Palestine in 1941, and Gella Seeberger born in Germany and died in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1983.
MM often wonder if they are rolling in their graves over this new claim of being Canadian Indigenous made by Jessica Yaniv starting in the 2020s. From all accounts it is yet another way to grift the system.
Jews of British Columbia
After Miriam’s parents Hana Altmann died in 1997 and Baruch Altmann died in 2006 – Ilana (Miriam’s deaf sister) moved in with Miriam, Yitzhak aka Jack, and a 19 year old, Jonathan, at Greenside Estates, their family residence from 2007-2017.
Logical Question?
Were the Yaniv family able to purchase the townhouse at Greenside Estates because of an inheritance from Miriam’s parents, the Altmann’s?
Given Miriam’s dad died in December 2006 and they purchased their first home in 2007 – the timing would line up.
Is it possible the money had always been Miriam’s and Ilana’s?
The Altmanns are both buried in the New Westminster Jewish Cemetery – Schara Tzedeck. They are the 2 relatives Miriam said she would dig up and take back to Israel during her statements on the stand in the BC Human Rights Tribunal in 2019.
A Jewish Mother
Miriam Yaniv in 2019 – is a proud Jewish Mother, defending “Jessica” and calling her offspring “The Voice” – and ranting about the Holocaust. Miriam rants about the Holocaust a lot. Even very recently on Twitter aka X.
Miriam Yaniv who may or may not be bipolar, and has gone on a crime spree with her offspring over the last years and she was given 18 months Probation in December 2023. Before that she had ties to the White Rock Jewish Community Centre and often posted about events and fundraising for the centre.
Miriam was also banned from living in her own condominium complex for a few months prior to receiving that probation, because she was such a threat to the other senior citizens in the building.
In March 2024 Miriam’s storage locker was put up for auction – for unpaid fees. Pretty sure this was just after she was homeless in 2023, unable to LEGALLY set foot in her strata building because of her crimes against her neighbours. She was forced to stay in motels which must have cost a penny – because she wouldn’t live with Jessica.

Jack Yaniv’s children from his first marriage – have claimed to have Israel passports and are proud Jewish immigrants.
Miriam is a proud Jewish member of the White Rock Jewish Community Centre. Her parents are buried in a Jewish Cemetery.
Miriam said she would dig up her parents and take them back to Israel during the 2019 Waxing Cases in the BCHRT. It was noted more than a few times over the years that the Yaniv’s appear to speak Hebrew to one another, and Miriam writes in Hebrew. Like these recent posts on X from January 2025, where she rants about the Holocaust.
Jack Yaniv died in 2013 and was apparently also buried in a Jewish Cemetery. But no one can locate the site due to a lack of a head stone, and a lack of any kind of public obituary.
In 2019 Jessica notes being targeted by Nazi’s because of her Jewish religion. Miriam often posts about being nazi’s about Israeli’s having guns.
Jonathan aka Jessica’s Medical Record 2019 noted Ashkenazi genes, as JY was requesting testing for known DNA issues from the genes. (This medical file was part of a case MM have the legal documents of.)
How does any of this add up to Jonathan aka Jessica Simpson being genetically related to the Métis indigenous people of Canada.
There is zero evidence of this claim being reality.
In our opinion this makes Jonathan Yaniv aka Jessica Yaniv aka Jessica Simpson a Pretendian.
Evidence that MM possesses suggests Yaniv is using this indigenous claim to apply to Allard School of Law, well, dear readers that is fraud. (MM have copies of court statements made by Yaniv claiming to be indigenous and Métis.)
In 2023, when a woman named Barbara Doduk – that is actually Métis and has her MNBC membership – started asking for proof of Jonathan Yaniv aka Jessica Simpson’s Métis claim – she immediately became a target of harassment from Yaniv. MM thanks her for providing information to MM, and we gladly help her expose this apparent fraudulent claim by Jessica Yaniv Simpson.
